FAITH
Faith Promise Giving – like everything in the Christian life – requires FAITH in order to be pleasing to God. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith takes God at his word and gives accordingly. It enables us to keep our promises even when it seems humanly or economically impossible. Such faith is demonstrated by consistent giving even in hard times eagerly, generously, and faithfully; and trusting God to do his part in providing.

PROMISE
Faith Promise Giving is simply a PROMISE to give a certain amount of money over and above our tithe, as the Lord provides. Tithes and offerings are urgently needed in the work of the church, but these are not sufficient to get the gospel to the world in this generation. Tithes depend on a stated known income. But Faith Promise Giving goes beyond that when we ask God, “How much can I trust you to give through me?” This offers God a channel through which he can pour limitless amounts into his work through us. It is a voluntary commitment we personally make to God, to give a certain amount on a consistent basis to help take the message of Jesus into all the world.

GIVING
Faith Promise Giving is just that, GIVING financially to world missions. We give generously, joyfully, and sacrificially because Christ first gave himself for us. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” -2 Corinthians 8:9. His grace enables us to give our hearts back to him as obedient disciples. Jesus said that where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Our giving follows our hearts. Give your heart to Jesus and his global mission, and your treasure, time, and talent will follow.

Mid-Term Missions
Mid-Term Mission Trip
This mission trip to India offers a unique, exploratory opportunity for members of Kentwood Community Church who are seriously discerning a long-term calling to the mission field. Specifically designed for those who have completed the "Intro to Missions" or "Perspectives" courses and have some short-term mission experience, the journey spans from three-weeks to 90 days depending on visa approval and personal scheduling. Under the direct leadership and hospitality of Pastor Anup Salve, participants will be hosted at his home and integrated into the daily operations of his ministry.

- Any KCC attendee who has taken the “Intro to Missions” class or completed The Perspectives Course and has traveled on a short term missions trip in the past 5 years.
- Individual that is interested in an exploratory trip to seek guidance on long term missions calling.
What is the duration of the trip?
- The trip can be from 30 to 90 days depending on visa approval and personal schedule
- At this current time the church is willing to pick up all travel costs and lodging costs for the trip.
- The individual would be responsible for food costs and personal costs while in country.
Who is Hosting the Trip?
- Pastor Anup Salve of Kingdom Connection Church would be hosting you at his home and through his ministry.
- Pastor Anup would provide guidance and leadership in the areas and locations of your serving opportunities.
- Engaging in youth ministry with Kingdom Connections Church
- Working at a prayer chapel that is connected to a school in a village area.
- Serving in children’ ministry and community outreach in local farming community.
- Working alongside Pastor Anup and his leaders in other community outreaches and leadership development.
- Spending quality time alone with God in order to discern and listen for next steps Engaging with the local community and taking some entry level language classes.
