Debbye Turner Bell

Leadership Development Coordinator

About Debbye

“Debbye Turner Bell is the Leadership Development Coordinator at KCC.  She also serves on the Teaching Team and is the Lead Mentor for the Marketplace Ministry Cohort.  In October 2005, Dr. Turner Bell preached her trial sermon at Allen Cathedral in Queens, NY, and became a licensed minister.  In April, 2009, Rev. Turner Bell was ordained a deacon.  She received her full order as an Elder in April 2011.  Before coming to KCC, Debbye ministered the Word of God, His purpose and deliverance to youth, singles, women’s groups, and church services nationwide.  God has sent Debbye as far away as South Africa with a message of the saving power of Christ’s love and God’s awesome design for every human beings’ life.  Also, Debbye worked as a broadcast journalist spending more than a decade at CBS News in New York City as a Correspondent and fill-in anchor.  Debbye received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and has appeared on many pet and animal-related shows including The Westminster Dog Show, Animal Planet’s DOGS 101, and National Geographics’  “How Dogs Get Their Shape.”

When Debbye was seven years old, her mother sat her down at the kitchen table and said, “You can’t get to heaven on my apron strings.  You must know God for yourself.  You must read the bible yourself.  You must pray on your own….”  So, as a young girl, she began a wonderful journey of learning and experiencing the love of God through Jesus.  A part of that journey led to being crowned Miss America 1990.  Debbye is married to Gerald Bell and has a daughter named Lynlee.”
