Dan Schmidt LLPC is a licensed counselor who believes that every person is uniquely and wonderfully created by God. In our uniqueness we can sometimes get stuck. He is passionate about walking with individuals as they work to get unstuck, find healing, and find their path to living a fuller life. Dan has also served as a pastor and a prison ministry chaplain. Through pastoral care he has spent considerable time walking with couples as they work through various concerns. He has also spent much of his chaplaincy working with men struggling with addiction, identity issues, and faith issues. Dan has led marriage enrichment groups, spiritual enrichment groups, and addiction groups. As a parent of a child with special needs, Dan also has a heart and understanding for the unique struggles parents and families face when caring for a family member who has special needs. Whether your struggle be anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, or marriage, Dan is committed to working with you to achieve your goals in finding hope and healing.

Michele Potter is a Christian Discipleship Counselor with Grace Life International and has a heart for helping others to experience freedom from past hurts, their current pain and future worry in their daily lives.  She experienced her own breakthrough 20 years ago and has had a passion to work with others to find the path that God has for you individually to break free from the lies that keep us bound and stuck.  Michele has been a Women’s Bible study leader at Kentwood Community Church for 25 years and is passionate about helping others discover His truth for their lives. She has been married for 33 years to her best friend and husband Brian and has three adult children and one grandchild.  She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, painting and sports. Sarah earned an MA in Professional Counseling with high distinction from Liberty University which included additional coursework in addictions, healthy sexuality, counseling adolescents and crisis therapy. Her goal in counseling is to provide an avenue for healing, to come alongside those who struggle, and help clients to life their best life. She works with individuals, children, couples, and family units within the behavioral health venue with a faith-based approach that is health-focused and individual-specific, beginning with a strengths-based assessment. Motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and other therapies are utilized with a focus on finding workable solutions that are sustainable for a lifetime.

Kirsten Lein has a heart for helping individuals who are hurting. Life can bring unexpected twists and turns that leave you feeling confused, hurt, and uncertain about the future. Whether you are struggling with grief, anxiety, shame, trauma, difficult relationships, or life transitions, Kirsten believes there is hope and healing for you. She would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey towards health and resilience and towards a life that is meaningful and fulfilling to you. Kirsten received her Masters in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. She is married with four children and enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves coffee, cooking, music, and learning.

Jennifer’s heart for hurting people was birthed out of her own journey of experiencing healing from trauma, abuse and loss. She is convinced that all of us are created by God with a potential for incredible resilience and with the right kind of compassionate support, we can bounce back from the worst of circumstances. Jennifer grew up in India and after moving to the US in 2001, received a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Over the last two decades, Jennifer has worked with children and adults in various settings such as schools, women’s shelters, churches and private practice. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, cooking and enjoying conversations over a good meal with friends and family.
