Real Kidz

week of October 18

Hello KCC Real Kidz Parents!
It's more important than ever before to make sure we are taking care of our bodies and staying healthy and safe. Physical health is certainly very important, and it affects the rest of our health as well. However, I also want to challenge you during this season to consider the things you are doing to maintain your spiritual health as well! This week take some time for yourself and your family to focus in on how you are doing spiritually, as well as where you may need to invite Jesus in to minister to you personally. I challenge you to give Jesus some space to move this week and see what he does!

We are so excited to start seeing many of our Real Kidz families for indoor worship starting November 1st!  We will begin to phase-in our children's ministry programming that day, starting first with our elementary kids in K-5th grades. We can accommodate a total of 20 children in the Square with safety protocols, distancing, and a touch-free check-in process. Then in future weeks we'll add pre-school, nursery, and care for children with special needs. We'll provide more details next week on all the things we're doing to give our kids and volunteers a safe and fun experience.

Until then, we will continue with our drive-in services on Sunday mornings, weather permitting. Real Kidz will keep providing resources for you to encourage your child's spiritual growth with our online videos and curriculum packets that are passed out on Sunday mornings. It's week three in our October series for both our preschool (Sing in the Rain) and elementary students (Offstage, drop the act)! Our preschoolers will keep learning how they can trust in God because "God's got it!", even when things seem out of control. He will take care of them! The elementary students will also keep exploring the topic of integrity and learn to value doing the right thing before God, even when nobody may be watching.

We hope to see you this Sunday in the church parking lot at 10:00am! If you cannot make it, we will be live streaming the service for you to worship from home. We cannot wait to connect with you! For more details please see our Facebook page or our KCC website.

Preschool | Worship & Bible Story

This month we have learned that God's got it, no matter what situation we are in!
In week 3 of our series "Singing in the Rain", we will hear a story about a woman named Hagar and her son who got needed help in the desert, and God was there for them! Get your Bibles ready and read along to the story found in Genesis 21:14-20.

Elementary | Worship & Bible Story

It's week three, so can you say the definition of integrity yet?!
Integrity is choosing to be truthful in whatever you say and do. This week we will learn how when you're not truthful, you will loose trust! Read along in 2 Kings chapter 5 to a true story about Naaman and Elisha's servant where we will learn an important lesson about being truthful.

Trunk-or-Treat Event

We are so excited to announce that KCC will be hosting our very own Trunk or Treat this year! This family-friendly event will take place on October 31st from 2pm-4pm outside in the parking lot of the church. Come dressed up in your favorite costume and see some amazing trunk decorations as we safely pass out individually-wrapped candy! This event will be socially distanced with safety precautions in place to help limit contact, and there will be sanitizer to limit germs. In case of rain, this will become a drive through event.

In order to successfully put on this event and make it great, we are in need of some volunteers to help us with parking lot management and to serve on a hospitality team for the event. We are also accepting donations of individually wrapped bags of candy! You can bring those on Sunday morning and somebody will come around to collect them. If you would like to sign up to do any of these things, please click the link below and fill out the form, and you will be contacted shortly after. We cannot wait to gather with you and enjoy some Fall fun!
