| Influences: My parents who love and encourage me; my youth pastor, Mark Carroll, who invested in my life when I was in Middle and High school; Phil Barrett and Cris Uren, my roommates at IWU, who challenged and pushed me to go deeper; Larry Mitchell, my IWU youth professor who believed in me; my former staff at McGrawsville UMC, Greg Hiatt, Kenny Cole, and Ryan Jorgenson, who were my “partners in crime” - oh, I mean ministry. And lastly, but most important, my beautiful wife, Christie, who encourages me daily, lives it out and keeps me honest. |
| Epic Moments: Getting saved and baptized in second grade; God calling me to ministry at an Acquire the Fire event my Junior year of High school; marrying my life-long friend in 1996 followed by our son’s birth in '99 and my daughter’s birth in '01; being in full time ministry since August of 1997. |
