In His name, for His glory
-- The Management

Mary did indeed have a little lamb

Perhaps it isn't theologically sound, but the message is powerful ..

Mary had a little Lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go.
He followed her to school one day,
Twasn’t even in the rule.
He made the children laugh and play,
to have The Lamb at school.
And then the rules all changed one day.
illegal it became;
to bring The Lamb to school
or even speak His Name.
Every day got worse and worse,
as days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh
We hear guns and screams and tears.
What must we do to stop the crime,
that’s in our schools today?
Allow The Lamb back into school
and teach our kids to pray.

The original is also powerful if one uses their holy imagination .....

Mary had a little lamb,
little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
and everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day
school one day, school one day,
It followed her to school one day,
which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play,
laugh and play, laugh and play,
it made the children laugh and play
to see a lamb at school.

And so the teacher turned it out,
turned it out, turned it out,
And so the teacher turned it out,
but still it lingered near,
And waited patiently about,
patiently about, patiently about,
And waited patiently about
till Mary did appear.

"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
Love Mary so? Love Mary so?
"Why does the lamb love Mary so,"
the eager children cry.
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know."
The lamb, you know, the lamb, you know,
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,"
the teacher did reply.

Thank you Mary Sawyer for taking your brother's advice and allowing your lamb to follow you to school one day, school one day, school one day ....
