Membership at Kentwood Community Church

Membership is not required to attend Kentwood Community Church. We are first and foremost a community church, bringing the good news of Jesus and offering a warm and safe environment for any who wish to stop by.
So why even have membership? Because at some point in our lives we may find ourselves ready to associate with something bigger than we are.  We generally look for a way to demonstrate our dedication in a 'covenant' sort of way.  For when we reach that time, KCC offers the step of membership.

Understanding Membership at KCC . . . Easy as 1 2 3

  1. Heart of KCC - A three-week class offered six times a year, the place to get started on the membership path.
  2. Beta - An eight-week discipleship class offered on Sunday mornings three times a year, also available in additional more flexible formats.
  3. Membership Dialogue Dessert (MDD) - A one-time, 90-minute dessert and small group conversation with Pastor Wayne.
Once you've completed these steps, then you will receive details on completing the process and being received as a member during a weekend worship service.

To let us know you want to be on the journey toward membership and so that we can keep track of your progress, please fill out and turn in a yellow membership registration sheet (which you will receive in your folder at the Heart of KCC class).
If you have any questions regarding membership, contact Kim by e-mail or by phone (616.455.1740 x 531).
